No.296 of the 11th.November, 1898, I have the honour to

submit a copy of a letter received from the Chief Jus-

nclosure Dent. 1900. With Sub-en- losures A to

cessity for a new edition of the Ordinances of HongKong.

opinion that a new Edition is needed. The Ordinances of

1894 and 1896 are out of print and much inconvenience is

caused thereby.

3. Estimate No.5 would appear to be

the most favourable, end I am led to believe that 350

copies would not be too many. The cost would be $3549.55,
